Happy Christmas, world! Dinner is yet to come… pretty much all presents
opened though
Same sort of Christmas as usual really, dinner will be fun.
And then over the next few days, hope to definitely go to Funderland, and
maybe other fun stuff.
Will see - have to go. Isn’t good to be seen logged in on Christmas Day,
doncha know ![]()
And I’ve just sent out some of my Christmas greeting emails - it’s as close
as I get to proper cards! Maybe next year…
Spoiler here if you haven’t read Lord of the Rings
before!!
I’ve just seen Part One of Lord of the Rings in the cinema! It was
extemely well done I thought! Extremely extremely well done. I know Gandalf
doesn’t really disappear for good (oops spoiler, but everybody has read the
book, haven’t they?) but it was still a tear-jerker when he falls into the
abyss, and afterwards as the Fellowship mourns outside the Mines of Moria…
awwwwwwwww!!
So many people going away! Oh this can’t happen! Well it is. Hm. I’ll just
have to go visiting a lot over the next year…
I do enjoy my nighttime chats with Juan on our respective ways home…
That corner just off Pearse Street where so many interesting topics have
been discussed! Surprisingly many hours spent there, all told, over the
past year since I moved into the city centre.
Right. Now to start Christmas shopping. Late? Why never! It’s still the day
before the day before Christmas Eve! Far earlier than usual ![]()
Ooooh that looks so nice and festive - I had to look at the page again ![]()
Of course, I am now free and off work, and this is a wonderful thing!!! Now
I gotta go do my Christmas shopping since I haven’t gone and gotten a thing
yet. Oh well. Same as usual. And I DID mean to get stuff earlier this year,
but each weekend stuff happened, and it just dragged on. At least I won’t
spend a lot of time doing my shopping - at this stage I
can’t…
Updated my diary page! Well made it look a bit different… I’m kind of
proud of it - it looks good in Mozilla and Netscape 6 anyway
And in
lynx/w3m. Have to test with Opera/konqueror. Doesn’t look great in IE,
but what can I do? ![]()
