Also, the Elephant and Castle serves up just as large portions as
ever! I was soooo stuffed after going there on Tuesday with Dominic and Sara.
And I think I’ve decided (okay it’s flimsy evidence to just go on one night)
that white wine can give worse hangovers

evidence for/against that hypothesis over time.
The Sugar Club. Yes, a very interesting place! Blackjack, and some really
amazing (to my viewpoint) swing dancers! I must learn that dance better…
maybe start going to those lessons in Parnell Square again?

I love theme tunes. Theme tunes for programs I enjoy. I was watching the
start of Enterprise last night, and we’d gotten to the end of the
theme tune when Paul in shock and horror asked what the hell that thing
masquerading as a theme tune was. As a Star Trek traditionalist,
he doesn’t like the new lyrical song, and would prefer the orchestral music
preferred ever since the first series was made. And I played the theme song
again, and realised it was really really good! I like it! And I was humming
it to myself this morning too on the way to work - it’s a memorable tune.
Other themes are also wonderful - and I wouldn’t think of fast forwarding
through them when watching a program on video. Including Vision of
Escaflowne, Magic Knight Rayearth, Frasier - well
maybe it’s just the association between the song/tune and a program I really
like a lot? But I know a few programs I like, with really horrific themes,
and I don’t feel like this about those.
Eh a lot of rambling there.
No further info on that Stephen King thing - I guess it was just somebody
having a laugh. Otherwise I’m SURE I would have heard more by now!!
Looking at places to live… doesn’t look like it’ll be too hard to get
somewhere nice… it’ll be good!!!
Mmmm once again I wreck my body with Apache Pizza… ready for collection in
under 15 minutes. But I can’t go to a proper restaurant *on my own*, and I
guess this is better than Burger King
